Civil Partnership celebrations are truly memorable and joyous occasions it is always an absolute honour to work with the couple to plan and manage their very special day!

Civi Partnership celebrations are much more relaxed than traditional receptions,so they can follow a particular theme or style.

I therefore describe my role as assisting the planning process, offering advice and guidance and then, on the day, ensuring that the plans are put into practice. I work in a relaxed but professional manner always retaining a sense of humour and fun

At same sex celebrations one learns to expect the unexpected which although challenging can really make the event most memorable.

Typically, although there is no typical I will:

• Meet with you to discuss your specific requirements
• Offer advice and guidance upon etiquette & protocol
• Provide coaching for making effective speeches
• Liaise with caterers and photographers on the day
• Greet guests to the reception
• Organise and announce the presentation line Assist with the presentation of gifts
• Announce the speeches
• Organise the cutting of the cake
• Announce & escort the retirement of the couple from the reception
